الثقافة منتج اجتماعي وسياسي، ولا يمكن تقسيمه رأسماليا أو رادكاليا ،حيث لا تقف عجلة التحولات السياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية في عالمنا اليوم عن الدوران إلا بواسطته. لأنه هو المحرك الأساسي للحداثة والتطور لهذه المفاهيم، بغض النظر عن انتمائه السياسي او الاجتماعي، ولأنه هو المبدع وصوت الأمم ولسان حال الشعوب والعين التي ترى خلالها ما يحدث في المجتمعات من مجريات الأحداث بكافة أشاكلها المختلفة.
فحسب رأيي، هناك من المثقفين أنواع باتت واضحة وضوح الشمس في كبد السماء، نوع يكتفي بدور المتفرج يطلع الأحداث عن بعد لا يحرك ساكنا وكأنه غير معني بها سابحا في قضاياه الشخصية، غارقا في أمور سطحية وهامشية، مستمرا في بناء اسمه وكيانه وشهرته لإشباع غرائزه.
ونوع ثان هدام يسعى إلى إرضاء نفسه بطريقة ما، خسر التأثير والقيمة بلا مبدء ولا أيديولوجية، ويندرج هذا النوع غالباً من خلال رجال الدين وأساتذة الجامعات والحقوقيين.
وهناك النوع الثالث الذي استسلم للواقع، لزم بيته يقرأ المستجدات، بل تعكس عليه النظرة أحيانا على أنه مختل عقليا. وأما النوع الرابع فقد لعب مع السلطة بإيديولوجية، حاول تغيير مسيرة المجتمع ولكن محاولاته انتهت به من إلى السجن.
كل هذه وتلك، استنزفت وكان مصيرهم التهميش والإبعاد، فهل انتهى فعلا دور المثقف القمري في ظل المفاهيم والأدوات المتاحة أمامه، وفي ظل العولمة وعصر السرعة، ليصبح بذلك مجرد تراث في الماضي؛ أم نسعى جميعا لتجاوز هذا الجدار لكي يعتز كل مثقف قمري ما لديه من وعاء ثقافي ومعرفي؟!
