ميلادنا ، صرختنا الأولى ، حليب أمهاتنا وحنان آبائنا ،رائحة أجدادنا ، أهلنا ، جيراننا ،أصدقائنا، ضحكاتنا ،لعبنا ،مدارسنا ، جامعاتنا ،أعيادنا ، أفراحنا وأحزاننا ، غضبنا ورضانا ، احلامنا ،طموحنا ،سعينا ، دمنا ودموعنا ، ديانتنا ودعواتنا وأمانينا ، ثوراتنا وثرواتنا ومواريثنا ، عاداتنا تقاليدنا وأعرافنا ، ميولنا وأهدافنا ، تناقضاتنا ،اتجاهاتنا ، معاناتنا ، سلبياتنا وايجابياتنا ،ماضينا وحاضرنا ومستقبلنا. هذه التفاصيل تحدد هويتنا ترسمها تلوّنها تزيّنها وتوقع عليها أرواحنا حباً وسلام.
شعبنا عشق لامتناهي ،هو مناّ ونحن منه إنتماء إبدي لا يتداعى .،. ومن لم تسكن كل هذه التفاصيل قلبه وعقله وكيانه فهو بلا وطن وبلا هوية . إن أعظم الشعوب على الإطلاق هي تلك التي تعتز بهويتها حقاً ،وتتمسك بأوطانها عشقاً،تجبرها إذا كُسِرت ، وتنصرها إذا خسرت ،وتحميها إذا غُدِرت.
أعظم الشعوب هي التي تغيّر أوطانها وتحرص على إخراجها بكل أمانة من الضغائن والشرور إلى تسامح وخير وحب وفير ، من الدمار إلى العمار ، من الجحيم إلى النعيم ، من نار الغضا إلى نور الهدى والرضى ، من النفاق إلى الصدق والآفاق ، من الجهل إلى العلم والوفاق ، من الدرك إلى الفلك .
وتنهض بها نهضة يهتز لها التاريخ ويرسل صداها لألف عام قادمة، نهضة تحيل ظلمات العقل لأنوار ساطعة واليابس القحل لحقول يانعة .
فكيفها حال هويتنا ياترى ؟ وهل نحن شعب عظيم؟ ماذا قدمنا لأوطاننا وشعوبنا ؟ بل ماذا قدم كل منا لأخيه ؟ أو حتى لنفسه ؟؟
هل نحن في مضمار سباق التنمية الزمني أم نحن من المتفرجين نجلس في المدرّج نكتفي بالتعليق والتصفيق ؟ .
