شارك محمد الأمين صيف وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولي في اجتماع أعمال الدورة العادية (149) لمجلس الجامعة على المستوى الوزاري، المنعقد يوم الأربعاء، الموافق 7 مارس 2018، بمقر الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية.
وأصدرت وزارة الخارجية بيانا عرضت فيه مجمل المسائل التي تم مناقشتها خلال الاجتماع حول القضايا الإقليمية من بينها الوضع في سوريا والعراق واليمن الصومال وليبيا.
وقد التقى الوزير صيف على هامش الاجتماع نظرائه من الدول العربية المشاركين في اجتماع أعمال الدورة العادية (149) لمجلس الجامعة على المستوى الوزاري، من بينهم وزراء خارجية المغرب ومصر وسلطنة عمان والجزائر وزير خارجية اليمن وتناولت اللقاءات العلاقات الثنائية وسبل تعزيزها على مختلف الأصعدة فضلاً عن التنسيق المشترك حول القضايا الإقليمية والدولية.
داخليا أشار البيان إلى أن مجلس الوزراء تبنى بالإجماع قرارا يدعم الحوار الوطني مرحبا في الوقت ذاته بعقد الجلسات الوطني التي انعقدت منذ الـ 5 وحتى الـ 12 من فبراير الماضي لدراسة ما حققته الدولة على مدار أربعة عقود منذ استقلال البلاد في الـ 6 من يوليو عام 19975.
